Shorthorn Youth Club Fundraising Steer

A 16 month-old Shorthorn steer carrying Sprys bloodlines has been generously donated by Anthony Chrichton-Brown of Deltroit Station, Adelong and is being fed for 150 days by “Ashleigh Park” feedlot at to raise funds for the Youth Club.

The steer will be processed and packed by Countryside Meats. Albury, and auctioned in packs of approximately 30kgs at Sprys on-property sale at Wagga Wagga scheduled for Wednesday, 28th April.

Each pack to be auctioned will contain a variety of steaks, sausages, roasts and mince and is portioned to fit in a large esky, so bring one along to the sale.
All proceeds from the auction of the steer will assist in the running of the Shorthorn Youth Heifer Show in Parkes on the 2nd, 3rd & 4th of October 2010.

The SYCA would like to thank all those who have helped put this together especially the Spry Family for their continued support.
